Two words…Peri-Peri! (or is that one word)?

It is almost safe to say that 99% of the student population in the UK will have heard of Nando's chicken #cheeky. Whether it is the chain of restaurants up and down the UK or the products that you now find in your local supermarket, including delicious crisps.

Nando's Restaurant

Nando's speciality is chicken and they are known for cooking it very well. The chicken is accompanied by Portugeuse inspired sauces ranging in heat and a number of sides, salads, drinks and desserts.

Unfortunately a nationwide Nando's student discount does not exist yet but if you check with your local restaurant there may be offers throughout the year. You can also check Save the Student! regularly for Nando's offers along with a number of other restaurant offers.

They also offer discounts to those in the emergency services so if you become a policeman you can get 20% off… try not to let this sway your career decision though.

Your best chance for getting offers at Nando's is to grab a Nando's card.

If you build up enough reward chillies you can get nice freebies. Each time you go and spend over £7 you get a chillie.

• 3 chillies = 1/4 chicken or Appeteaser
• 6 chillies = 1/2 chicken or any single wrap, burger or pitta
• 10 chillies = Whole chicken or single combo meal
