Loads of students travel to Thorpe Park every year to get the latest thrill on rides such as Saw, Nemesis Inferno and Colossus. If you are on the lookout for a real thrill and adrenaline rush, it’s a great day out - I mean, have you seen that Inbetweeners episode?!

The rides and attractions are on a similar thrill level to what you’ll find at Alton Towers, but those in the South may find it easier to travel to Thorpe Park, as it’s just 20 miles from Central London. There’s an on-site hotel, so it’s easy to make a weekend of it if you want to.

How to get student discount at Thorpe Park

It’s easy to get your student discount at Thorpe Park with your university-issued student photo ID, a UNiDAYS account or a TOTUM card. Just follow the simple steps outlined below.

• Take your student photo ID card, UNiDAYS ID or TOTUM card with you when you go to collect your ticket

It’s really important that you don’t forget to take your student ID with you as you’ll be charged the full walk-up price of up to £50 without it.

If you don’t have any student ID, you can take an email from your college or university with photo ID (so even those who aren’t yet at university but are in higher education can get the discount).

No, you need to purchase online (in advance of your visit) in order to get your student discount.

Where do I collect my ticket?

You can print your order at home, but if you choose the collection option, you can take your order confirmation and student ID to the Island Ticket Centre to the right of the main entrance.
