We're on the hunt for an experienced and passionate content editor to oversee the publication of first-class, engaging content to over 2.5 million monthly readers.

Our mission is to support, educate and entertain undergraduate students, advising them in how to make their money go further whilst at university. Since 2007, we’ve been helping students across the UK and beyond, and we’re now the country’s leading student money website.

Trusted, high quality content that’s light-hearted and digestible is essential to our ethos, and we pride ourselves on putting students first.

We’re a small but super friendly team, who also happen to be based on a 60ft open-plan yacht moored at  Canary Wharf, London!

As Managing Content Editor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Being responsible for all content on the site
  • Overall long-term content strategy
  • Coming up with fresh and exciting new content ideas
  • Researching, writing & editing information-rich  articles and guides
  • Sourcing, editing and placing images within articles
  • Managing, editing and proofreading the work of others
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest student finance & consumer news
  • Managing a small team of freelance student news reporters (remotely)
  • Posting content to Facebook and other social channels.

Only apply if you:

  • Have a background in consumer or finance writing
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in an editor-type role
  • Have experience with online content management systems (CMS)
  • Are passionate about helping people

  • Have been to university
  • Are OCD about spelling and grammar
  • Are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and working to meet tight deadlines

As a small business with a massive reach, this is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of creative decisions and be read by millions of online readers every month. If this all sounds up your alley, we want to hear from you!
