Premier Inn is known for its great value rooms with great beds and great food (especially the breakfasts).

The brand has more than 800 hotels across the UK and further afield, and it's very likely there’s at least one Premier Inn hotel in your town or city. We expect that most students have stayed in a Premier Inn hotel at one point in their lives!

The chain offers free 24/7 WiFi access which is a great bonus, and though there is no student discount on offer at Premier Inn, you can almost always pick up a promotional rate room for just £29 or less. If you split the cost with a friend, that means you can have a night away for pretty cheap!

Premier Inn rooms and facilities

Premier Inn rooms all feature en-suite bathrooms alongside super-comfy double or kingsize beds (they’re so comfy, you can even buy new Premier Inn mattresses for at home!). You’ll also find a TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and a desk in case you want to catch up with any work. Irons and hairdryers are available upon request, so you can travel light!

The free WiFi is excellent for browsing the web, or you can upgrade to their Ultimate WiFi for £5 for 24 hours if you want more streaming power to watch your favourite TV shows and movies.

In the hotel itself, you’ll usually find a bar and restaurant - if it’s not on-site, it’ll be just next door. You can combine meal offers with your stay if you want to have breakfast or dinner included. Prices tend to be pretty reasonable and the food is good.
