£90 Worth Of Food For £35
We've been ordering food from Approved Food for a while now, and in our latest haul we nabbed £90 worth of food for £35.
What's the catch?
Approved Food sells food that is close to or past its best before date. The food is perfectly safe to eat, and we didn't even notice the difference in taste or quality.
According to the NHS "Best before dates are about quality, not safety. When the date is passed, it doesn't mean that the food will be harmful, but it might begin to lose its flavour and texture."
Don't confuse this with "Use by" dates which should not be ignored.
What do they sell?
They sell most of the things that you would find in the supermarket, including fruit & veg, toilet roll & cupboard essentials. They don't sell meat or dairy products.
Not all of the items are past their best before date, most were well within.
So if you want to save up to 70% on food then give them a go.
Our total bill inc delivery came to £35 - and we bought £92.27 worth of goods!
